The Bukkinhomes Agent Program is a referral system designed to reward individuals across Nigeria for introducing new customers to our wall finishing and paint platform. Whether you are an interior designer, a real estate enthusiast, a social media influencer, or simply someone looking to earn extra income, this program allows you to earn competitive commissions by recommending Bukkinhomes products.

When you refer a customer who purchases paint, tools, or decorative finishes from our catalogue, you earn a percentage of the total sale. At the same time, the customer you refer receives an incentive to buy, as using your agent code grants them an immediate discount on their order.

How It Works

Becoming a Bukkinhomes agent and earning commissions is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to get started:

Create an Account: Visit the Bukkinhomes registration page at /register and sign up for a standard user account.
Apply for the Agent Program: Once registered and logged in, navigate to the application page at /agent/apply.
Submit Your Application: Fill out the application form with your full legal name (matching your bank records) and your bank account details. Your bank details are required so the platform can process your commission payouts directly to your Nigerian bank account.
Await Review: The Bukkinhomes administration team reviews all applications. This review process typically takes between 24 and 48 hours. During this time, your application status will be marked as pending.
Receive Your Agent Code: Once your application is approved, your status changes to approved, and you are officially an active agent. The system will automatically generate a unique agent_code for you.
Share and Earn: You can share your unique agent code directly with potential customers or use your custom referral link to direct people to the Bukkinhomes website. When a customer completes an eligible purchase using your code or link, you earn a commission, and they receive a 5% discount on their purchase.

The Agent Tier and Commission Structure

To reward active and high-performing agents, Bukkinhomes operates a tiered commission structure. Your commission percentage is determined by your lifetime sales volume. As your total referred sales grow, you automatically move up to higher tiers, allowing you to earn a larger percentage on every subsequent sale.

Your progress is calculated using cumulative lifetime sales, meaning your sales history never resets, and your tier status is permanent.

The four agent tiers are structured as follows:

Bronze Tier
- Commission Rate: 10% on eligible sales.
- Eligibility Threshold: Lifetime sales between ₦0 and ₦499,999.
- Description: All newly approved agents start at the Bronze tier. You will earn a 10% commission on all successfully delivered orders that you refer.
Silver Tier
- Commission Rate: 12% on eligible sales.
- Eligibility Threshold: Lifetime sales between ₦500,000 and ₦1,999,999.
- Description: Once your cumulative referred sales reach ₦500,000, the system automatically upgrades your account to the Silver tier. Your commission rate increases to 12% for all future orders.
Gold Tier
- Commission Rate: 15% on eligible sales.
- Eligibility Threshold: Lifetime sales between ₦2,000,000 and ₦4,999,999.
- Description: When your lifetime sales cross the ₦2,000,000 mark, you are automatically promoted to the Gold tier, earning a 15% commission on all subsequent referred purchases.
Platinum Tier
- Commission Rate: 18% on eligible sales.
- Eligibility Threshold: Lifetime sales of ₦5,000,000 or more.
- Description: This is the highest tier in the Bukkinhomes Agent Program. Once your cumulative referred sales reach ₦5,000,000, you will earn an 18% commission on all future referred orders.

Earning Channels and Commission Lifecycle

To make referring customers as flexible as possible, Bukkinhomes tracks your referrals through two distinct channels. These channels operate independently but feed into the same earning balance:

Referral Link Tracking: You can generate a custom referral link from your dashboard that appends your agent code to the main Bukkinhomes URL (formatted as https://bukkinhomes.com.ng/?ref=YOUR_CODE). When a customer clicks this link and browses the platform, the system remembers your referral. If they place an order during their session, the sale is credited to you.
Manual Code Entry: If you prefer to share your code offline or via text, customers can manually type your unique agent_code into the discount code field during the checkout process.

Note on Double-Earning Prevention: To maintain platform integrity, only one commission is paid out per order. If a customer clicks your referral link and also manually enters your agent code at checkout, the system treats this as a single referral. You will receive your standard tier commission once, and the customer will receive their 5% discount once.

The Commission Lifecycle

When a referred order is placed, your commission moves through three distinct statuses to ensure security and order fulfillment:

Pending: As soon as a referred customer pays for their order, your commission is calculated and marked as pending. This means the order is confirmed and paid for, but the products have not yet been delivered to the customer. Pending commissions cannot be withdrawn.
Available: Once the delivery team successfully delivers the order to the customer and the order status is marked as completed, your commission moves from pending to available. Available funds are cleared and ready for you to withdraw.
Paid: After you request a payout and the administration team processes the bank transfer, the status of those specific earnings changes to paid, and they are archived in your payout history.

Self-Referral Protection

Agents are not permitted to earn commissions on their own purchases. The Bukkinhomes platform features built-in self-referral protection. If you attempt to place an order using your own agent code or your own referral link, the system compares the email address on the order with the email address registered to your agent account.

If a match is detected, the system will still grant you the 5% customer discount at checkout, but it will block the generation of any agent commission for that order.

Payouts and Financial Management

Bukkinhomes provides a transparent and reliable payout system, allowing you to transfer your earned commissions directly into your registered Nigerian bank account.
